Mr Rene Ramirez, Ecuador’s National Secretary of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT) visited A*STAR on 30 July 2012. He was accompanied by Mr Fausto Valle, Charge d'Affaires and Head of Mission, Embassy of Ecuador in Singapore and two other delegates. The Ecuadorian delegation was hosted by Dr Raj. Thampuran, Managing Director of A*STAR, and was keen to understand more about A*STAR and explore collaboration with A*STAR, which may include research attachments to A*STAR for Ecuadorian students. The Ecuadorian delegation concluded their visit with a tour of the FusionWorld Gallery and Sky Garden.
