SIgN 2010 Collaborative Grant Call

The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) is calling for the submission of full proposals for research projects under the theme: “Clinical and Pre-clinical Investigations involving Human Immunology, with a focus on Infection, Inflammation and Autoimmunity”.
The purpose is to promote bench to bedside translational research in the field of Immunology. The collaborative research projects should be undertaken between SIgN Investigators and Extramural Partners including Researchers, Clinicians, and Clinician-Scientists. SIgN Investigator will be proactively making contact with relevant extramural partners of complimentary expertise to propose suitable projects.
For the selected projects, funding would be awarded to the extramural partner. This win-win framework would allow extramural groups to gain additional resources and manpower to expand their work, and for SIgN groups to acquire needed complimentary expertise.
The deadline for grant applications is 20th August 2010.
