STAR Joint Council Development Programme Grant
The DP grant is aimed primarily at industrial pre-positioning to enable A*STAR to be technologically ready to meet future opportunities and challenges. The purpose of the grant is to foster the pursuit of new research areas in a multidisciplinary approach while leveraging on existing capabilities within A*STAR RIs. Although industry participation is not a requirement, DP proposals demonstrating industry support through collaborations or co-funding will be viewed favourably, in line with RIE2015’s strategy for industry relevance.
The proposal must present a clear balanced multidisciplinary collaboration involving both Biomedical Sciences (BMS) and Science & Engineering (S&E) disciplines. Each DP grant supports research for up to S$5 million over 3 years.
Eligibility
The Development Programme grant is only applicable to A*STAR researchers.
