National Science And Technology Awards (NSTA) 2008

Seventeen outstanding individuals in Singapore research were  presented the prestigious 2008 National Science and Technology Awards (NSTA) by Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry, at an awards presentation dinner on Thursday, 21 Aug 2008. Among them are two remarkable recipients of the prestigious National Science and Technology Medals (NSTM) – Professor Tan Chorh Chuan and Mr Say Kwee Teck. They have made distinguished, sustained and exceptional contributions, and played a strategic role in the development of Singapore through the promotion and management of R&D.
