This will function as a service facility for both academic and commercial research entities. It will house rodents under SPF conditions, and other animals under conventional conditions. Resources include holding, procedure, quarantine, ABSL3 rooms, operating theatre, necropsy room, and small animal facilities.

The services that will be provided include:

• Animal husbandry
• Breeding of standard strains
• Mouse transgenesis through DNA or ES cell microinjections
• Cryopreservation of embryos and sperm for long term storage
• Monoclonal and Polyclonal antibody production
• Veterinary services
