Dr Chui King-Jien

Dr Chui King-Jien is a Director at A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (QInC). He is also a Deputy Department Head and team lead for 2.5D/3D TSV team in A*STAR's Institute of Microelectronics (IME) Heterogeneous Integration department, where he has led several research and industry projects to develop the platform for via-middle, via-last TSVs, 2.5D/3D integration for various applications.

He is also currently working on wafer-to-wafer direct stacking and chip-to-wafer stacking for high performance 3D integration. Prior to IME, he worked on advanced planar and vertical nanowire CMOS devices in TSMC and Unisantis Electronics respectively. King-Jien has more than 15 years experience in semiconductor devices and processes from front-end to far backend.
