Dr Ye Jun is a Director at A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (QInC). He is also a senior scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). He also leads various roles as the Innovation Technology Area (ITA) Lead for Quantum Computing in IHPC, Principal Investigator for DELTA-Q Project 4 funded by the A*STAR Strategic Research Programme, Application Thrust Co-lead for the National Quantum Computing Hub, and Quantum Computing Software Thrust Lead of the A*STAR QInC. He obtained his bachelor’s degree (2007) from Central South University, China, and PhD (2012) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has a background in theoretical chemical physics with expertise in numerical simulations of open quantum system dynamics, quantum transport and ultrafast optical spectroscopy in molecular aggregates and complexes. His research interests cover a wide range of topics in classical computational science and topics relevant to quantum computing with a focus on developing quantum computing strategy in a full-stack and systematic manner.
