For Secondary/High School Students
As part of A*STAR’s effort in grooming young and promising talent, the A*STAR Science Award is given to local upper secondary and junior college students who demonstrate particularly strong aptitude and interest in math and science to spur their passion in scientific research and development.
Youth talent are also identified through extensive outreach programmes to nurture a vibrant diverse community of young scientific talent in Singapore. Through these outreach programmes, students gain early exposure to science and research and an appreciation of the exciting opportunities a research career entails.
