STAR Graduate Academy
A*STAR recognises and values human talent as chief enablers of Singapore’s knowledge-based economy. Supporting a key thrust of A*STAR’s human capital development, the A*STAR Graduate Academy (A*GA) aims to make A*STAR a global nexus for talent, by nurturing a new generation of scientific talent who will spearhead Singapore’s ambition of becoming a world-class scientific hub.
With a comprehensive suite of undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral scholarships providing top-class education both locally and overseas, A*GA is committed to grooming individual talent to his/her full potential. Youth talent are also identified through extensive outreach programmes to nurture a vibrant diverse community of young scientific talent in Singapore.
Since 2001, A*GA has nurtured a pipeline of more than 1,000 Singaporeans PhD talent through its spectrum of scholarships and fellowships.
