The Advanced Remanufacturing theme aims to develop advanced technology for the rejuvenation of high value components with complex geometry, using state-of-the-art technology for cleaning, removing defects and adding material to reconstruct the features. Integrated adaptive technology minimizes human intervention and at the same time, reduces errors that can potentially lead to rework or scrapping of expensive parts, thereby enhances productivity.

To drive the adoption of industry 4.0 solutions, ARTC will be setting up the Smart Manufacturing Group as a demonstrating platform for the industry. This public-private partnership programme aims to co-develop a model factory with industry players, to collaborate and develop Future or Manufacturing (FoM) technologies, based on real applications in advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing. JOB DESCRIPTION


Drive independent application oriented robotic research towards industrial automation using ROS

• Develop and implement new robotic capabilities in adaptive control, integrated sensory system & manipulation or navigation

• Create software architecture, design and evaluate technologies to use

• Software development in C++, Python, ROS tools and libraries

• Design, analyze, troubleshooting and debugging systems and develop software solutions for industry members by translating business requirements into system requirements

• Integrate software with robotic hardware and develop robotic applications for manufacturing process

• Develop testing and validation strategies with industry standards

• Manage state of the art machine vision technology and integration with robotic processes

• Technical project planning and execution on development projects for global industry members

JOB REQUIREMENTS


-    Qualification & field of study: PhD degree in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

-    Min. years of experience: 1-2 years

-    Other requirements (e.g. skills, competencies): Domain knowledge in at least one of these fields is mandatory: robotics, ROS, machine vision, image processing and machine learning

JOB DESCRIPTION


Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for developing current members to achieve full membership potential based on under the terms of membership agreement

·         Be the point of contact based on assigned industry companies/members’ activities with ARTC

·         Provide weekly and quarterly reporting on business development activities with assigned customers/members

·         Review all assigned industry companies/members’ activities to ensure total customer satisfaction - resolve project or service issues and disruptions, and customer complaints.

·         Collate and analyze market data, sector development and members’ activities in order to keep abreast of evolving market requirements

·         Responsible for building, managing, and analyzing assigned customers/members’ database, in order to identify and develop new revenue stream and project opportunities

·         Manage Accounts Receivables (AR) from customers/members to be in line with the Credit Management Policy set by Corporate Office

·         Ensure adherence to all Corporate Policies & Procedures in terms of Billings & Credit Control, HR, Operations and Project Management


JOB REQUIREMENTS


·         Diploma or Degree in a relevant field

·         Proven track record in establishing new accounts will be advantageous

·         2-4 years’ experience in Business Development / Sales management

·          Strong passion for business development and managing customer relationships

JOB DESCRIPTION


Responsibilities:

·         Reports to the Project Management Office Leader

·         Assists and advises Technical Project Managers and Project Team members on best practice in the use of project management disciplines, according to the company’s Project Lifecycle Management process

·         Acts as a reference point for PMO queries from Project Teams and for passing information from PMO to project teams

·         Ensures project documentation (e.g. project agreement, reports, etc.) is relevant, accurate and complete

·         Ensures all project documents are properly archived

·         Tracks and reports on current project status/issues, providing a real-time and comprehensive view of all allocated projects to the PMO on a regular basis

·         Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions

·         Update the company’s project lifecycle management procedures and ensures project teams maintain discipline needed to successfully complete their projects

·         Become an expert user of the company’s Project Management Software to assist Project Managers in using the software (e.g. creating and updating project schedule)

·         Become an expert user/administrator of project-related websites

·         Facilitate good communication between the cross-functional team members; fosters team work, motivates personnel and aim towards continual improvement.

·         Interact with industry members and ensure effective communicate throughout the project life cycle


JOB REQUIREMENTS


·         Bachelor in Engineering related discipline

·         Experience in Project Management preferred but not required

·         At least an intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
