JOB DESCRIPTION


 

Reporting to and working closely with the Group Manager, to plan & drive the technology development activities and projects for the Advanced Robotic Applications group. Coach & guide the junior engineers or scientist to deliver KPIs that are aligned to ARTC strategic goals.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Lead a team to research, develop and implement ground breaking robotic capabilities for manufacturing industry.

·       Mentor the staff in design, analyze, troubleshoot and debugging systems and develop automation solutions using robots, for industry partners

·       Drive the technology developments activities and roadmap preparation

·       Develop competencies and skills of all technical staff to improve overall efficiency of the team

·       Coordinate with PMO team & project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects for the team.

·       Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish communication plans, and develop clear solutions.

·       Motivate the team members to take responsibilities and delivery solutions to customers, maintaining through ARTC core values

JOB REQUIREMENTS


·       Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical/ Electrical / Computer Science Engineering or relevant discipline

·       At least 7-8 year(s) of working experience in automation industry or related field, as a senior executive or manager role

·       Solid practical experience in manufacturing industry with in-depth knowledge of industry requirements and applications within the process automation

·       Proven ability to mentor and coach junior engineers

·       Significant experience and knowledge in robotics and control system for industrial automation

Condition monitoring (CM) refers to a set of techniques which are used to monitor plant equipment (using different technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, motor current analysis, etc.), determine their status or health and predict their failures for a better maintenance and to prevent long downtimes. 
Our Condition Monitoring team is working on developing new solutions for applications such as machine tools, FMCG, etc. for better performance and for early detection of systems defects, so that corrective actions (which can be through maintenance or adaptive control) can be performed  on time.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of experimental tasks required for the team activities (this includes the operation of CNC machine tools, instrumentation and sensor integration, data collection and related measurements). An in-house training on the different equipment will be provided, when needed.

The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Team within the Intelligent Product Verification Group at

ARTC develops cutting-edge inspection technology for our industry members. The team works on

a range of exciting NDT applications including: development and validation of application-specific acquisition and analysis methods for NDT test data, efficient data interpretation for defect detection and characterisation, robotic automation of ultrasonic and electro-magnetic probes and 3D X-ray computed tomography (XCT) for additive manufacturing. The team also collaborates closely with local and international universities to create novel, and enhance existing, NDT methods to meet future requirements for the Advanced Manufacturing and Remanufacturing Industries. The team also works with other IPV teams to support the development of augmented reality (AR) apps for inspectors. We are looking to grow the NDT team with dynamic, talented and experienced individuals who possess excellent R&D skills and are passionate about developing the latest technology.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in specific NDT technology domains

• Take ownership of the NDT technology domain roadmap and implementation strategy

• Be accountable for technical deliverables of NDT related industry projects

• Identification of technology gaps between industrial requirements and commercial

• Collaborate with local and international universities and research centers to deliver

Responsibilities:

The Energy & Petrochemicals sector is new in ARTC and the successful candidate will report

JOB DESCRIPTION


Responsibilities:

·       Reports to the Project Management Office Leader

·       Assists and advises Technical Project Managers and Project Team members on best practice in the use of project management disciplines, according to the company’s Project Lifecycle Management process

·       Acts as a reference point for PMO queries from Project Teams and for passing information from PMO to project teams

·       Ensures project documentation (e.g. project agreement, reports, etc.) is relevant, accurate and complete

·       Ensures all project documents are properly archived

·       Tracks and reports on current project status/issues, providing a real-time and comprehensive view of all allocated projects to the PMO on a regular basis

·       Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions

·       Update the company’s project lifecycle management procedures and ensures project teams maintain discipline needed to successfully complete their projects

·       Become an expert user of the company’s Project Management Software to assist Project Managers in using the software (e.g. creating and updating project schedule)

·       Become an expert user/administrator of project-related websites

·       Facilitate good communication between the cross-functional team members; fosters team work, motivates personnel and aim towards continual improvement.

·       Interact with industry members and ensure effective communicate throughout the project life cycle


JOB REQUIREMENTS


·       Bachelor in Engineering related discipline

·       Experience in Project Management preferred but not required

·       At least an intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

·       Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


·       Bachelor or Masters in any engineering related discipline

·       PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous

·       At least 5-10 year(s) of working experience in the related field as well as project management experience

·       Strong business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines

·       Outstanding project management capabilities; i.e. planning, risk management, status reporting, budget tracking, benefits analysis, stakeholder management, resource management

·       Proven track record of executing multiple successful projects (delivered on-time, meeting product requirements and cost target)

·       Knowledge and understanding of re-manufacturing techniques and limitations
