Post Doctoral Fellow (RNA Computational Genomics)
Position Code: SC10225
We are looking for talented computational scientists and computational biologists who are interested in analyzing big data. In collaboration with biology groups, we develop new cutting edge high throughput sequencing strategies and generate novel datasets that aim to illuminate how RNA interacts with itself and with other RNAs in a genome-wide manner. The hired computational scientist will get to analyze these novel datasets first-hand, as well as to learn and explore new ways to interpret large datasets produced by high-end technologies. This work is highly interdisciplinary and benefits from extensive crosstalk between computational and experimental biologists.
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences or other relevant disciplines Excellent track record of scientific achievement and demonstrated creative abilities
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python or Perl)
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of the team
