Postdoctoral Fellow (Immuno-Oncology, Technology Development and Biomarker Discovery)
Position Code: SC10346
We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented postdoctoral fellow with strong wet lab experience to join a multi-disciplinary effort to discover new biomarkers in the field of Immuno-Oncology (IO) and to create the next generation of cancer immunotherapies.
Our laboratory uses joint experimental and computational approaches aiming at deciphering tumor biology (www.skandlab.org). In the concrete project, the candidate will join a team effort to develop new technology and discover biomarkers of response to cancer immunotherapy. The project will leverage large public cancer genomics datasets as well as deep genomic, molecular and clinical data from ongoing local clinical trials. The position is an excellent opportunity to obtain experience in the fields of hybrid experimental/computational technology development, high-throughput data analytics and translational science.
- Candidates should possess a PhD in a relevant discipline, such as molecular and cellular biology.
- Evidence of success in laboratory research, documented through publications or other means.
- Experiences in handling tumor tissue samples (such as FFPE), cancer genomics and biology, tumor immunology, bioinformatics, programming or high-throughput data analysis are advantageous.
