Overview

IHPC organises many outreach activities to engage students from secondary schools and all the way to junior college level.

This is to create a greater awareness about the importance of Computational Science and High Performance Computing (HPC), and it's role in helping solve the complex global challenges we encounter.

Such activities include introductory talks on applications and approaches to R&D, computer visualisation camps, a high performance computing programming-based competition, a science-fiction writing competition, student attachment programmes and ad-hoc visits.

These activities help nurture the growing pool of young talents in schools, and encourages them to think about a career in science and engineering.
