IME was presented with 6 awards at the annual A*STAR Workplan Seminar held at Resorts World Sentosa. For the third year running, IME receives The Outstanding Publications (TOP) Award, which recognises the A*STAR Institute for the highest number of quality publications per researcher. The awards also include The Patent Power Award - presented to the A*STAR Institute with the most patent applications filed per budget dollar and the Go-the-Extra-Mile-for-Service (GEMS) Award. The GEMS Award went to Mr Adrian Tan, Laboratory Officer of IME, for consistently providing excellent technical support and for always going beyond the call of duty to resolve equipment and wafer processing issues. IME was also conferred the Best Achiever Award among the SERC research institutes in the FY2010 Economy Drive Awards. IME's cost saving effort in optimising process gas usage and equipment maintenance was recognised with another two Monetary Awards.
