A team of researchers from IME and Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) has received the A*STAR Scientific Conference Young Researcher Collaborative Grant Award.

The proposed work titled “High Throughput Microelectronic Cell Analyzer” will be led by Dr Abdur Rub Abdur Rahman from IME, with the aim to develop an automated multi-channel analyzer with built-in cell counting feature. The high throughput capability developed in this work is expected to advance rapid disease screening in medical sciences.

The A*STAR Scientific Conference 2011 Young Researchers Collaborative Grant is a mini-grant awarded to novel research proposals independent of themes/discipline involving collaborations across different A*STAR research institutes.
