A*STAR participated in the Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2025, held from 15-17 October at Singapore EXPO.

With a focus on “Next-Gen Manufacturing with AI”, A*STAR showcased how advanced science and technology are powering the future of manufacturing. Our research and partnerships are enabling Singapore’s industries to harness AI for sharper insights, smarter processes, and sustainable growth — strengthening competitiveness in an increasingly digital and dynamic world.

Event Highlights

Driving Singapore's Push Towards Next Generation Manufacturing With Ai

Visitors experienced A*STAR’s innovations through exhibits that showcased technologies developed by A*STAR and our partners. These included real-world applications of AI, automation, and sustainability in manufacturing, such as adaptive systems that optimise production and intelligent platforms supporting human–AI collaboration.

Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance, Mr Jeffrey Siow, toured the A*STAR booth and met industry partners and researchers advancing the future of manufacturing through AI and advanced engineering

Minister of State for Trade & Industry and National Development, Mr Alvin Tan, saw a demonstration of AIMie, an agentic AI from AIMfg that enables adaptive factory operations

The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC), a national platform hosted by A*STAR, showcased a complete additive manufacturing journey at their booth. Visitors gained practical insights into how additive manufacturing is enabling new production capabilities from generative design and advanced materials to processing, post-processing, and real-world applications.
