Linde van Lee
Linde obtained her BSc and MSc majoring on Human Nutrition from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Shortly after graduation, she started with a 4-year PhD project at the Wageningen University, the Netherlands, under supervision of Prof. E. Feskens and Ass Prof. A. Geelen. During her PhD, she developed a diet quality index to determine the level of adherence to the Dutch dietary guidelines and an accompanying short screener to assess these index scores. Furthermore, she studied the relationship between dietary patterns and several health outcomes using multiple Dutch cohorts. After completing her PhD, she was appointed as a researcher to study added sugars intake in the Netherlands, and adherence to the WCRF/AICR guidelines in colorectal cancer survivors. In September 2015, she joined SICS, A*Star as a Research Fellow.
Currently, her research involves understanding the relationship between dietary factors during pregnancy and various birth outcomes such as birth weight and infant adiposity.
