Biography
We focus on the design, synthesis and characterization of new functional materials with an emphasis on their applications in molecular sensing, imaging and therapy. We are specialized in biomarker detection, long-term cell tracking, vascular imaging and continuous monitoring of biological processes, by in-vitro and in-vivo imaging using one-photon, two-photon microscopy and photoacoustic tomography. Other research interests include the development of multi-functional nanomaterials and probes for image-guided surgery and therapy.
