Venue: Seminar on Productivity Improvement for HMLV Manufacturing Date : 19 Jul 2012 Venue : SIMTech Training Room 1 & 2, Level 3 Introduction This seminar is designed to introduce and promote SIMTech's technologies for the HMLV (High-Mix Low-Volume)manufacturing industry. Companies in the HMLV manufacturing industry are facing increasing challenges in managing their manufacturing operations due to the large product mix and relatively low order quantity. In addition, these companies are also seeking ways to deal with the new foreign worker quotas in terms of Reduction in Dependency Ratio Ceilings (DRCs), which will take effect from 1 July 2012 since they are usually dependent on the skilled manpower to run its manufacturing processes. This seminar aims to help companies in the HMLV manufacturing to reap the benefits of improving the management and productivity of its operations.
