Symposium on Roll-To-Roll Processing of Printed Electronics And Functional Films

Date: 23 Nov 2011 - 23 Nov 2011

Venue: Auditorium, Level 3, SIMTech Tower Block, 71 Nanyang Drive, Singapore 638075

Dear Industry Partner

You are cordially invited to the Symposium on Roll-to-roll Processing of Printed Electronics and Functional Films on Wednesday, 23 November 2011. This Symposium is organised by the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and supported by OE-A (Organic and Electronics Association).

The growth of emerging applications including photovoltaics, flexible electronics and solid-state lighting is driving the need for large area, cost-effective and green manufacturing technologies such as roll-to-roll manufacturing. There are immense commercial opportunities for key industry sectors such as advertising, building, consumer electronics, healthcare and printed media. The global market is estimated to be US$2B in 2011 and expected to exceed US$40B by 2020 (Source: IDTechEx, 2011). Is your organisation equipped with the technologies to leverage this opportunity?

Symposium topics include applications, technologies and opportunities. Highlights are:
Printed Electronics Roadmap by Dr Klaus Hecker, Managing Director, OE-A

  • PEDOT:PPS-A      Versatile Conductive Polymer for Transparent Electrodes by Dr Stephan      Kirchmeyer, Head of Production
and Technology, Hereaus Precious Metals GmbH
  • Applications      of Roll-to-roll Printed Electronics by Wolfgang Mildner, Managing      Director, Poly IC
  • From      Small Lab Coating to Printing to      Production Technologies for Large Area Printed Electronics by Thomas      Kolbusch, Vice President, Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH

We look forward to welcoming you at the event.

Yours sincerely,
Dr Lim Ser Yong
Executive Director
Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech)
