Introduction:Dr Zhang XinQuan has more than 6 years of engineering and research experience in machining technology, particularly in ultraprecision machining. His area of interest includes diamond turning of optical molds/inserts, high-precision roller mold fabrication, ultrasonic vibration-assisted machining of difficult-to-cut materials, and contact lens manufacturing. He is currently is a Scientist of Mechanical Precision Machining Team at the Machining Technology Group, Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech). He is also co-supervising PhD students with National University of Singapore (NUS).
