Introduction:

Dr Ma Yansheng received his Doctor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, Master of Engineering from Hefei University of Technology, and Bachelor of Science from Shandong University. He has over 30 years of experience in tribology, nano-tribology, hard disk drive tribology, tribology of coatings and surface modification layers, lubricant and additives (friction modifier, anti-wear and extreme pressure), tribology of automotive engine, surface analysis and characterisation.

Research Interest:

Development of physical vapour deposition coatings for wear and corrosion applications. Coatings and materials characterisation and analysis, tribological testing and analysis.
