Introduction:

After completing his PhD from the National University of Singapore, Dr Sha Zhou joined a local company as a Senior Engineer for the R&D on various functional coating materials. From the nearly four years of industrial experience, Dr Sha Zhou has acquired expertise in thin film/coating structure design, vacuum deposition technologies, and a wide range of material characterisation techniques, especially for diamond-like carbon coatings with high tribology requirements.
