Introduction:Mr Ao Yin Tai joined Singapore Institute of Manufacture Technology in 1999. He has led or been involved in many research and industry funded projects relating to business process management (BPM), RFID enabled supply chain track & trace, ERP system implementation, computer aided design and product data/lifecycle management. He and his team developed a BPM platform to enable fast deployment of BPM system for local small-to-medium enterprises. His present research interests include complex event processing (CEP) for supply chain applications, supply chain track & trace performance measurement, Event-driven BPM and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) enabled integration. He is currently a senior research engineer for the Planning and Operations Management group in Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech); a research institute of A*STAR.
