Introduction:Dr Roland Lim Yan Guan has been a researcher and practitioner for over 20 years, active in the fields of supply chain and manufacturing strategy, analysis, design, and implementation for both SMEs and MNCs, lean manufacturing, inventory network optimization, and advanced IT architecture for supply chain, logistics and manufacturing systems. Dr. Roland Lim has an Engineering Doctorate degree from Cranfield University UK, a Master of Science degree from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore. He is currently the research theme leader for planning & decision support in the planning & operations management group. His research and working experience with industry has enabled him to gain extensive knowledge of the best practices and solutions to tackle the supply chain and manufacturing challenges of SMEs and MNCs in Singapore.
Research Interest:Supply chain and manufacturing strategy, analysis, design, and implementation, lean manufacturing, and inventory network optimization.
