Methods Of Qualification And Certification For Additive Manufacturing

(MasterClass in IMPLEMENTING ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING IN PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT)

Note: International participants are required to make a pre-payment of their course fee (deposit) to secure their seats and complete their registration for this masterclass. For more details, please read the "ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS" section in the course webpage.

Introduction

Our Masterclass provides comprehensive coverage of the requirements and routes to validation for metal additive manufacturing (AM) parts produced by powder-bed fusion (PBF) and directed energy deposition (DED) manufacturing processes. This three-day training programme, spread over five sessions, is based on ISO and ASTM standards and is intended for individuals who use, or plan to use, AM in serial or critical applications and would like to learn more about the routes to Qualification and Certification. Participants are expected to have a solid background in Additive Manufacturing.

The programme leverages recent case studies from the PBF and DED world to provide context for structural integrity challenges and opportunities. Our expert trainers have extensive in-depth experience in Materials, Qualification and Certification, and making parts from Additive Manufacturing Methods. The learning methods are based on logic and experience, and real-life best practices (and lessons learned) will be shared. This is not a series of lectures; there will be discussions, mini-workshops, and ample opportunities to ask questions.

Who Should Attend

This Masterclass is suitable for
  • AM Manager & Company Executives
  • AM Engineers & AM machine/process operators
  • QA/QC Engineers
  • Individuals who wish to know the route to qualification and certification

Why This MasterClass

Our co-organiser, ASTM International Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AM CoE), offers world-class Additive Manufacturing (AM) training with strong positive reviews from past participants. Partnering with A*STAR Research Entities (Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology & Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre) for this MasterClass, our goal is to provide training that supports additive manufacturing adoption scaling and gain awareness of the best practices and latest advancements in additive manufacturing.
