Technology Consortia

The Tech Consortia were established to facilitate many-to-many engagement between researchers and industry to promote technology translation. Each Technology Consortium was expected to work across local research performing institutions to aggregate the high-quality research talent pool, infrastructure and intellectual property that had been developed in the Singapore ecosystem, providing industry members a “one-stop-shop” that would facilitate identifying the appropriate connections and collaborations to help address the industry partner’s technology needs.

Their aim is to increase the visibility of emerging technologies through events and stakeholder engagements to foster academia-industry collaborations and bridge the gap between research performers’ awareness of industry demand and industry’s understanding of research performers’ capabilities.
