Physiologically-based Toxicokinetic Modelling to Predict Human Disposition of Xenobiotics

We are constantly exposed to diverse chemicals. To assess their effects on human health, we determine the rate and amount absorbed, distributed to various organs, and removed from the body. Using a detailed and accurate virtual model of the human body, combined with lab-based cell models, we precisely reconstruct the behaviour of chemicals in the body without using inaccurate animal tests. This improves safety assessments and reduces risk to consumers.
