FORBES BRINGS INAUGURAL GLOBAL CEO CONFERENCE TO SINGAPORE

Singapore, 16 April 2001 - Forbes Magazine, America's best-read business publication, will be bringing its first-ever Forbes Global CEO Conference to Singapore this September 19-20, 2001.

For the past six years, CEOs from around the globe have left their boardrooms to join a special group of top-level executives at the Forbes CEO Forum in the US. This year, for the first time, Forbes Magazine will bring this prestigious event to Asia. The theme of the conference is "Entrepreneurship, Technology and Business Leadership in the 21st Century".

The Forbes Global CEO Conference will bring together 300-350 invited CEOs from Asia, US and Europe to share their insights on how technology and entrepreneurship impact their businesses and the global economy.

Steve Forbes, President, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, and Caspar Weinberger, Chairman, will be speaking at the conference, as will Forbes Inc. colleagues Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes Magazine, and Lawrence Minard, Editor of Forbes Global.
