Abstract: Various novel hypercrosslinked porous polymers with phosphonium salt incorporated into their networks were developed. These porous materials have high BET surface areas (up to 1168 m2 g−1) and can be used to selectively capture CO2 and efficiently convert CO2 into cyclic carbonates.
