What a Night! SGHackitRx’s Panel on Public-Private Partnerships Was a Full House of Big Ideas and Bold Conversations!
Last Thursday, on 14 August, SGHackitRx hosted an inspiring evening at SGInnovate where over 100 attendees from across the healthcare, research, venture capital, and pharma worlds came together to explore a crucial question: How do we make public-private partnerships (PPPs) in health innovation actually work?
With a powerhouse panel featuring Dr Jasmine Ong (SGH), Dr Cheong Wei Yang (SMU), Assoc. Prof. Goh Su-Yen (SingHealth), Evelyn Pang (Moderna), and Colin Tan (Coronet Ventures), the session was packed with insights on navigating data governance, aligning incentives, and building infrastructure that moves beyond pilots to real, scalable impact.
From the challenges of clinical adoption to the promise of deep-tech investing, each speaker brought sharp perspectives, and the Q&A showed just how hungry our community is for more open, cross-sector conversations.
After the panel, connections sparked over dinner and networking, with ideas flowing as freely as the conversation. It’s clear: the future of health innovation isn’t built in silos, it’s co-created, across disciplines and sectors.
A huge thank you to our speakers, moderator Dr Jasmine Ong, and every participant who brought energy, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit.
