MOU signed between AMTA and 5 polytechnics

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between AMTA and five polytechnics in Singapore to achieve a common strategic objective of supporting the manufacturing sector’s workforce skills upgrading so as to strengthen Singapore’s manufacturing competitiveness. The agreement was inked during the official launch of Temasek Polytechnic’s Advanced Manufacturing Centre and the partnership also deepens the polytechnics’ collective commitment to training and capability development in the field of advanced manufacturing. Together, the parties will facilitate the development of new courses and curriculum that will strategically enhance the training ecosystem. AMTA will assist in training course curriculum design and improvements to address industrial needs in advanced manufacturing, as well as facilitate training programmes and events to enhance the knowledge and skills of trainers from Polytechnics for industrial practical training in advanced manufacturing.
