*This is a non-WSQ module.

Transforming and embarking on a digital transformation journey in the manufacturing sector should not be treated as a one-off exercise but be accepted as a continuous and iterative process.

This introductory course by A*STAR Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is aimed at developing an understanding for a manufacturing organisation on how to use a validated structured approach via the LEAD framework to embark on a digital transformation and implementation.

About the Programme

The course consists of two parts: classroom training involving lectures and group discussions; and practical hands-on sessions with case studies and demonstrations held at the Model Factory@ARTC.

The course aims to help participants address the following organisation’s performance gaps:

  • Learn the LEAD framework to “recognise” requirements to lead an organisation towards an Industry 4.0 Digital Transformation.
  • Help manufacturing organisations to LEARN about available best practises and EVALUATE, ARCHITECT and DELIVER plans to support their Digital Transformation journey.
  • Understand possibilities and options to digitalise their manufacturing operations based on demonstrators at the Model Factory@ARTC.
