ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIALISATION

We develop advanced technology for the manufacturing of high value components. The focus is to identify current limitations on part geometry and performance using traditional manufacturing methods and explore opportunities for product improvement and functionality using additive technology.
We aim to deliver complete solution from pre to post additive manufacturing processes, in order to enable test bedding of the manufactured components and translation into protect-ready solutions.

Potential Applications

These technologies can be deployed for the following applications:

  • Aerospace parts including hinges, brackets, complex fuel nozzels, jet engine parts and replacement parts
  • Tooling and moulds with conformal cooling channels for thermal management and performance
  • Automotive parts such as exhaust manifolds, and weight saving structures
  • Medical implant for orthopaedic, dental and devices with small internal cavities
