I was previously an accountant, my growing passion towards food and nutrition led me to pursue a different path, as a Registered Dietitian of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics of US. I completed my B.S. in Nutritional Science (Dietetics) with Summa cum Laude and M.S. in Nutritional Science at Howard University, Washington DC in 2016 and interned my dietetic with Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC. I also hold two diplomas from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), USA in the ‘Principles and Practice of Cancer Prevention and Control’ and in ‘Molecular Prevention of Cancer’.
I believe healthy eating is one of the most powerful tools to reduce chronic disease. As a research officer in CNRC, I am involved in the studies designed to investigate the effects of diet and exercise on human metabolism of normal weight adults. I hope our future research results could lead to further health promotion and diseases prevention.
