My undergraduate education is in Biomedical Science, and upon graduating, I worked for two years in bioprocessing while dealing with cell culture. I then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition at The University of Glasgow. I specialized in Public Health Nutrition and my dissertation project was an evaluation study of a free fruit provision scheme on the eating behaviour of nursery aged children. I returned to work as a STEM educator, where I planned Food and Sports Science programmes for Secondary Schools. Moving back into research, I now look forward to learn more about nutrition and its impact on health.
