I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Food and Human Nutrition from Newcastle University and also hold an Advanced Diploma in Food Technology. Prior to my undergraduate studies, I was working in food manufacturing industry as a food procurement executive. I am interested to explore how food innovation could bridge the gap of malnutrition in humans. As a research officer with CNRC, I hope to gain more in-depth knowledge on how food ingredients interact with human system; and hope that the research findings could lead to more strategies in health promotion and development of new food products.
