Senior Research Officer
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition at Deakin University (Australia). Upon graduating in 2012, I joined the CNRC as a Research Officer where my research focused mainly on glycaemia, energy regulation and body composition. In 2016, I went on to do a Masters in Nutrition for Global Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My thesis looked at testing a specific bioelectrical impedance vector analysis model against objective body composition data in children. Now returning as a Senior Research Officer, I am keen on understanding the human body composition and how food can play a part in disease prevention and health promotion.
