The SnFPC Facility @ DSI is open for access to trained and authorized staff from A*STAR Research Institute (RIs), Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and attachment students.
SnFPC@DSI capabilities can be accessed via two working modes: (1) User self-access, or (2) Service job arrangement. Self-access means external users are trained and authorized to use the equipment independently or with assistance from DSI equipment engineers. Service job arrangement on the other hand means that the actual processing or equipment operation shall be performed by DSI engineers on behalf of the requestor.
For self-access arrangement, users must attend the DSI Safety Training and Cleanroom Protocol Briefing (for those accessing the cleanrooms) and get trained and certified on the equipment they want to access. Trained and certified users who intend to use the facility over a reasonable period will be issued with DSI access cards.
Equipment use is to be charged at an hourly rate. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
