FOUNDING HEAD OF TSINGHUA MEDICINE VISITS GIS

26 May 2023 – Delegates from Tsinghua Medicine visited the Genome Institute of Singapore, with the purpose of holding discussions on potential collaborations between the two institutes. The visitors also toured the GIS laboratories to have a clearer understanding of our facilities and technical capabilities.
The delegates were led by Prof Wong Tien Yin, Founding Head and Chair Professor of Tsinghua Medicine. Prof Wong, a pre-eminent ophthalmologist and physician-scientist, was appointed by Tsinghua University, China, as University Professor, and Founding Head of Tsinghua Medicine, which was inaugurated in January 2022.
