Dr. Hu Juanjuan Dora

Dr Dora Hu Juanjuan is currently the Head of the Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) division at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR, Singapore. This division is driving innovations in technologies and solutions to improve sustainability, livability, and productivity in built environment. She received the B.Eng. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. From 2009 to 2012, she was with I2R, as a Scientist and a Principal Investigator in developing novel fiber devices for sensor applications. In 2012, she received the A*STAR Postdoctoral Fellowship (2012–2014) under which she joined the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, USA, as a Research Fellow and was involved in novel photonic technologies for endoscopic diagnosis. She joined the Femtosecond Optics Group, Imperial College London in 2013, where she was working on visible and mid-infrared fiber lasers.
