Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors' Award 2018

A*STAR I2R’s “Multimodal Robot Learning By Demonstration” has won the Merit award (Open category) in this year’s Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors’ Award 2018.
A joint collaboration between the Robotics and Human Language Technology department, this “Multimodal Robot Learning By Demonstration” illustrates how a robot can make use of machine learning and multiple intuitive interaction modalities (such as human dialogue) to help in daily operations such as (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) MRO and production missions.
* Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors’ Award is an annual award that aims to stimulate creativity among youths and promote an innovative and inventive culture in Singapore.
