Jun Siong received his B.Sc from University College London and later did his PhD in Immunobiology at Yale University with Susan Kaech and Richard Flavell. He then moved to Switzerland for his postdoctoral training in human immunology with Federica Sallusto and Antonio Lanzavecchia at the IRB Bellinzona and ETH Zurich. In 2022, Jun Siong received the Novartis Young Investigator grant and in 2023, he was awarded the NRF Fellowship and the Presidential Young Professorship to establish his lab at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (affiliated with Department of Microbiology and Immunology at NUS) and Infectious Diseases Lab (A*STAR). His lab aims to understand the complex biology of T and B cell at the interplay of infection and cancer by leveraging on high-throughput and comprehensive cell- and molecular-based approaches.
