A*STAR and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) co-organised SME Technology and Innovation Day 2018 to showcase various technology-related initiatives, and to encourage SMEs to adopt technology and innovation to develop new and differentiated products, services and processes, and improve productivity.

The event was graced by Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Chan Chun Sing, who emphasised the importance of collaboration between the government, research institutions, SMEs, and other technology partners, to ensure that Singapore continues to stay ahead of the competition.

Singapore Maritime Technology 2018

Launched in 2015, the Singapore Maritime Technology Conference (SMTC) is the flagship event that brings together key decision makers within the maritime community, technology vendors and thought leaders, as well as government agencies. It provides a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing within the maritime innovation ecosystem.

SMTC 2018 saw a record of 5 MOUs and 2 agreements signed with local and international partners. These will strengthen Singapore’s connectivity, deepen maritime R&D capabilities, and create a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State and Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Health graced the conference and visited IHPC’s booth to understand our capabilities showcase towards maritime sector.
