The Translational Biomedical Proteomics group in IMCB has an immediately available Research Officer position for a candidate who is self-motivated and interested in clinical proteomics projects. The successful candidate will mainly assist in carrying out clinical sample preparation for proteomic mass spectrometry in biomarker discovery projects, as well as support efforts in other research projects in the group.


• B.Sc or M.Sc in relevant fields of Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or Applied Sciences.
• Has Initiative and is hardworking. Able to think critically, and work independently as well as in a team. Passionate about research and able to work meticulously. 
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience with proteomics work is a plus.

• Perform or assist in molecular biology and biochemistry experiments such as cell culture, cloning,

  protein expression and purification.
• Lab maintenance: roles include placing orders, goods receipts, fixed assets management,
