Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Materials Science Workshop & Hack-a-Thon

Event Date: 31 Aug 2018 (Friday) - 31 Aug 2018 (Friday)

Innovis Building, Multipurpose Hall 1, Level 1

Time :02:00 - 05:00

Keen to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to your materials research, but don’t know how to start? This is for you!

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • How to use cutting-edge AI tools with hands-on code and data sets, from A*STAR, NUS, and MIT speakers.
  • How to select the appropriate ML/AI tool for several material science examples.
  • How to avoid common newbie mistakes.
  • Test your skills in a hack-a-thon and win prizes!

*Please bring your own laptop. Instructions will be given on how to set up the programming software after you have registered for the workshop.
