    1. Nano-material and surface Analysis:

    Proficient in angle-resolved X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (ARXPS), Synchrotron Radiation photoemission spectroscopy (SRPES), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), UPS and LEED. Nature material surface and analysis technique (image XPS, ARXPS, SEM, AES, UPS, LEED……) and other material characterization techniques (SEM, AFM, XRD,BET…..) analyze the organic, inorganic, metal surface

    Some surface plasmas treatment and designed a new plasmas probe in UHV systemFabrication and test techniques of organic light-emitting devices (I-V, L-V, CV, PL&EL, Mobility, Photocurrent, Electro-absorption, Purification by Vacuum Sublimation, ITO Oxidation by Ozone or Oxygen Plasma, Sealing, Low Temperature Techniques)

    2. Thin film growth and coating techniques:

    Familiar with vacuum deposition, spin-coating, CVD and other nano-film technology to coating organic, inorganic and metal thin film, and photolithography and cleanroom technique;

    3. Nano-Organic semiconductor device, solar cell, OLED and OTFT : Knowledge of semiconductor physics and semiconductor device technics; Familiar with semiconductor measurement methods and test equipment. Over  8 ID and over 20 SCI paper in this area.

    4. Surface plasmas treatment research.

    Gas plasmas surface treatment of Metal, conductor materials. 1 patent and 2 SCI paper.

    5. Vacuum Techniques:

    Design, construction and installation of ultra high vacuum (UHV) system; Operation and maintenance of UHV molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) system.

    Ten years maintenance and manager experience on UHV system of surface analyses instruments and other vacuum deposition (such as thermal evaporation, e-beam, OMBE) systems; Design new high vacuum gas plasma technique.


    PI of one Singapore-China industry project, over 0.3 M SGD develop thin nano particle coating and high quality conductive film technique.

    PI of one core institute funding, develop new solution thin film coating technique.

    Co-PI of 2 Singapore grant projects, over 2M SGD, develop new nano functional organic material and device.

    Co-PI of 1 Singapore-Japan industry project, over 3M SGD, develop new thin functional organic device.
