Research Details

Dr. YAN Hong’s major research work is focusing on synthesis and development of various functional polymer materials, molecular materials and hybrid materials for different applications. Since he joined IMRE, he is actively involved in various industry-funded projects as the project leader or as a key team member.

Functional coatings, such as hydrophobic coating, hydrophilic coating, UV-curable coating, and anti-scratch coating, fire retardant coating et al.

Colour matching and paint colour mixing device
