·         Research work in molecular electronic devices, nanoelectronics, semiconductors, resistive devices for neuromorphics, sensors, etc.

·         Low noise, cryogenic temperature electronic measurements.

·         Data analysis, modelling and interpretation. Image processing.

·         Tuning up, modification and customization of scientific instrument working under ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic temperature conditions.

·         Conceptualization, design, development, realization of new research themes and experiments.

·         Mentoring PhD students.

 

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER (April 2004—July 2006)

·         Fabrication, functionalization and characterization of 2D supramolecular assemblies.

·         Ultra high vacuum scientific equipment modification, maintenance.

·         Low noise, cryogenic temperature electronic measurements.

·         Data analysis and interpretation.

·         PhD student mentoring.

·         Conceptualization, design and development of new research themes and experiments.

 

RESEARCH ASSISTANT (September 2000—March 2004)

Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Germany

·         Setting up, modification, fine tuning of a homemade surface science instrument i.e. Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM).

·         Investigation at nanometer scale of surface phenomena resulting in the formation and evolution of semiconductor nanostructures.

·         Data analysis, modelling and interpretation. Matlab coding done for data interpretation, image processing and Monte Carlo simulations of thin films formation.
