NANOFABRICATION (NFB)

The NFB department focuses on developing both top-down and bottom-up nanofabrication techniques, as well as advancing the science and engineering of structured materials at the micro- and nano-scale. While the development of high precision, nanomanufacturing techniques for industry adoption is our main objective, we also spearhead integration of micro/nano-scale structures for functional devices and applications in diverse fields such as photonics and optics, nondestructive testing, health, food and environment monitoring.
